Message The JSpec has some very easy to fix differences...They have small cams (240 in 248 ex versus 248 and 248 for the US) and the turbos have a smaller A/R rating for better spool which you can replace from yoru US engine...

Also the oil pressure sender unit, balance, and PCV valves are different so youll want to use the ones off your US engine (email me for more info).
The EGR equip is also a bit different and lacks a conenctor which can be installed from your US engine. The wiring harness is a direct fit. You may want to change out the coil pakcs and spark plugs becasue the fuel and ECU differences in Japan...

For the most part, the rest of the engine is identical...
If you get one, do an engine flush, and flush the colant system well....

Ive been using a JDM for about 4 months now and it has held up amazingly. It dynoed GREAT HP numbers here in CO, and looks like it will be a good engine for many years to come...

If you want more info feel free to email or call me, my number and email are listed. I get people calling me every few days to ask JDM questions, so I really dont mind the calls.

Good luck =)
Josh
